Assisting with Events in the City of Brighton

With the plethora of civic events that the City of Brighton provides to its citizens, the Brighton CERT Team is proud to serve under the Brighton Police Department in augmenting the safety presence at Brighton events. The City of Brighton continues to build its tradition of safe and secure entertainment and cultural options for its citizens.
CERT Role as Citizens to Serve
The members of the Brighton CERT team have held a variety of roles in supporting the emergency presence available at events in the City of Brighton, including providing a presence along organized running routes, assisting officers with intersection traffic, securing the safety zone during fireworks displays, and otherwise volunteering to assist the emergency services of the city.
