Volunteering for the safety of our community. Brighton's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Team is a small team of volunteers under the Brighton Office of Emergency Management that work to enhance the safety and level of emergency preparedness in our community.
The Brighton CERT team has members certified to offer "Be Ready" emergency preparedness class, 32 Hour CERT Training class, as well as several security related offerings such as protecting yourself against identity theft. The team's work consists of hundreds of volunteer hours in attending and providing training, supporting local events, and planning for community emergency support.
