Completing the Application Process

As our members often interface with the community in a vareity of ways, including potentially in times of disaster, each applicant to the team completes a 4 step process.

• Step 1: Apply to the Team
• Step 2: Complete an Interview
• Step 3: Pass a Background Check
• Step 4: Complete a Police Department Ride-Along

Using a deep process ensures that the Brighton CERT program offers each individual the right opportunity to volunteer while still ensuring a high level of professional service and operational compatability for the city. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you to the team!
