Identity Theft Class

This one hour class was designed and constructed by the Brighton CERT team to discuss the critical elements of identity-based threats in the Brighton area. This course covers such critical topics as the elements that make up an identity, the presence of identity theft in the Brighton area, and a number of ways that you can help to protect your family's identities.

While this course focuses more on the offline threats that challenge today's families, a very brief discussion of some of the ways that the internet enables identity theft is includes.

This course is one hour in duration and is offered free by the Brighton Office of Emergency Management.
